I am not stating ground breaking news when I mention how amazing the Lush Lip Scrubs are. I've accumulated a fair few over the past 6 months.

MAC BAMBOO; AN UNSUNG HERO
You may remember me receiving this eyeshadow, along with loads of other lovely bits and bobs, in my Beauty Swap with Marisol in July.
Bamboo is the most perfect neutral shade. It is perfect for an all over lid colour, as well as a subtle definer, and a transition colour. The texture of the shadow is buildable and blendable, so you can make it as deep or soft of a colour as you like. I have also found that you don't actually need a base when using Bamboo - it covers all the lines and imperfections on my lids all by itself, which is pretty impressive for any shadow!
As well as the above, Bamboo is great on the brow arch when I have created a very dramatic eye look - especially for the night time. Little also goes a long long way!

CREAM BLUSHERS
Cream blushers are great for adding a pop of colour to the skin, and remaining to keep a 'dewy' look. I find that they are much more pigmented than powder blushers, and a lot easier to blend.
My all time favourite cream blush is from Tarte and is the shade 'Natural Beauty'. It is a really lovely red colour, that can be used for lips as well as cheeks. The texture is really soft, so it is so easy to blend and build up to create the desired colour and effect - while leaving the skin looking dewy and healthy.
Another favourite is this Topshop blush in 'Flush'. It is a really vibrant pink, so great for summer. It blends so easily and lasts quite a while to say it is a rather cheap option. It is also great to pop in your makeup bag as it contains a wee mirror and does not come undone easily.
Finally we have this wee one from iBalm, which I received in my Birchbox. 'Pie' is great for summer as it is a vibrant pink colour, and lasts a long time, too. Like the Tarte one, this is also great for lips!

REVIEW: BENEFIT SUGARBOMB BLUSH
For years I was never a blusher gal. I don't know whether it is because I am so pale and have never found the right colour or what, it is just something I have avoided. Over the past month or so I have accumulated a rather unhealthy array of beautifully packaged pink, orange and crimson blushes to grace my face. Even still, I have not found a blush I love for everyday and that is practical.
When Madison popped this beauty on my cheeks, I knew I had to have it. The packaging alone is so attractive for summer, and the colours swirl together to create this lovely, natural peachy colour (shown above). You could get away with wearing this everyday, or on its own even. It is also buildable, and if you want to focus more on one certainly colour - just dabble your brush in that section!
At £23.50, it is a little steep and may not be in reach of everyone's budget, but you do get what you pay for - plus a little brush and mirror, all in one handy compact.

A LITTLE BIT OF A BEAUTY HAUL
Some of you will be aware that I have been on a spending ban, however I couldn't not pick up a few treats, right?
The first thing I picked up was the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair 1. I don't think I need to rave about this concealer as it is the best drugstore one.
I have wanted a green concealer for a while; they are great for minimising the appearance of redness. So at only £1.99 this Natural Collection Corrector Stick; Green was a great one to try. This texture of the product is quite drying, however at such a low price it does the job while I am trialling it out. Also from Natural Collection, I picked up this eyeshadow duo in Mocha/Latte. I know YouTuber, Becca Rose, used this on her eyebrows for a very long time, so I thought I would give it a whirl on my hunt for the perfect brow product.
Last weekend I was at the Chanel counter for a while having my eyebrows done, after half an hour the lady announced that the products I wanted for them were not in stock in my shades - typical, but saved me some money I suppose. I picked up this brow pencil from No7. It is in the shade black but is more of a dark brown and will do me fine in the meantime.
Finally, last week I had my makeup done at Benefit. Sugarbomb was the blush that the lady used on me, and I instantly fell in love so had to pick it up. It is the perfect mix of pinks and oranges and looks so summery.
What've you picked up lately?
