MY PROM DRESS

I'm seeing so many of you lovely ladies (and gents) talk about your up and coming proms! I thought I'd share with you a few pictures of what I wore to prom two years ago..

My shoes were my favourite thing. I got them from Moda In Pelle at Meadowhall literally a week before prom. I always knew I wanted a white jewelled shoe but as soon as it came to looking I could not find any. Anywhere. These babies caught my eye as I was about to leave, disheartened and panicky. I think I paid around £120 for them, which is rather pricey, but NO BLISTERS. I know, amazing.

My dress was purchased from Molly Browns in York. There store is always full of really pretty dresses, shoes, and accessories so it is quite easy to get kitted out for prom in there. They specialise in Forever Unique, Jovani, La Femme, Mori Lee and Sherri Hill dresses. I've crawled the web for ages now looking for a link to my dress incase any of you are interested, but cannot find it in this colour. It is a Forever Unique Chandra dress, as spotted on Sam Faiers. You'll find that the price is dependant upon the colour you go for: black is more popular so more expensive, red is a little cheaper, leopard materials are more pricey as they are limited.

I kept my jewellery simple: Swarvoski Nouba necklace and bracelet (similar to this). I had my hair pleated round the back and let it spill loosely into curls, with this earcuff to add a little detailing. My makeup was also kept very very (too) natural and I just had my teeth whitened.

What will you be wearing to prom?
